The Mayer, Gilpin, and Tuckman family are sorry to announce the death of Judy Mayer (nee Troop) on July 26th. Judy and her husband Sam lived in Shannondell in Audubon, PA after many happy years in Broomall and Newtown Square. Over the years she enjoyed many activities including teaching home economics for the Philadelphia School District, getting involved with elementary school PTO, animal rehabilitation at the Schuylkill Environmental Center, shopping with the children in her life, and bird watching. What gave her the most joy, though, was bringing together people she loved dearly, including her husband Sam. All of our lives are richer for her efforts, and we will miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services for Judy on Wednesday, July 29 at 11:00 AM precisely, Shalom Memorial Park (Section Gabriel II), 3573 Pine Road, Huntington Valley PA 19006. Shiva will follow services at the Bradford Clubhouse at Shannondell on Wednesday only. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
