JUDITH COVON

Judith Covon (nee Baronoff) passed away on October 27, 2022.  She was 80. Beloved wife of Harris Covon.  Devoted mother of Jeffrey Covon (Lisa) and Jill Hullings (Michael).  Dear sister of Jay Baronoff (Sharon).  Loving grandmother of Amanda Covon and Jessica Covon. Funeral services and interment will be private.

 

Judi is survived by her husband Harris who she began to date at 16 years of age.  Judi’s father, Marty Baronoff introduced Harris to Judi in the Spring of 1959 at the Morrisville Drive in Theater. Judi’s uncle Bob built and owned the theater and Marty was the manager.  Harris was a Jr. Projectionist there when he met Judi. It was love at first sight for them and together they raised their children, Jeffrey (Lisa) Covon & Jill (Michael) Hullings.   Their grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Amy, Amanda & Jessica  who she loved to visit with.

 

Judi worked for many years as an Executive Secretary for L3 Communications.  After graduating from Rider College, she worked at the David Sarnoff Research Center of RCA Corporation in Princeton, NJ.  She had a “Top Secret” security clearance there.

 

Judi had an adoring personality and was always a pleasure to be in her company.   Judi loved to cook, entertain in her home and endless weekends boating with her family and friends from Spring to Fall.   Judi loved to shop and was a great bargain hunter.   “Shop till you drop” she would often say!
