JOYCE TEITELMAN

Joyce, affectionately known as "Bubbie", was predeceased by her parents, Stella and Jerry Frank, her loving husband, Philip Teitelman and her son, Alan M. Teitelman. She is survived by her daughters; Charlene Walker (Michael Tuno), Sara Riegel (Ryan), and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Teitelman; grandchildren, Monica Torres (Marvin), Haley Walker, Justin Walker, Dane Riegel, Kerri Warren, Kaitlyn Gunson and great-grandson, Mason Warren.

Joyce met the love of her life, Philip Teitelman, on a blind date. They were married on Jun 1, 1963 and blessed with 57 years of happiness together. When they started out, Philip was in the Army and stationed in Germany. Joyce traveled to Germany to be with him and lived there for 18 months giving birth to her first child. Upon returning home, they lived in Philadelphia for several years before moving to NJ. They started out in Runnemede, but soon moved to Barrington in 1971 where she raised their three children and lived for 47 years. Joyce recently stated that being a "mom" was her greatest achievement. She loved being a Mom and "Bubbie" to her entire family.

In the early 1980's, she and Phil started "Barrington Security Systems", a burglar, fire alarm and close circuit TV business. This endeavor allowed them to enjoy some of the finer things in life. "Bubbie" loved to cruise. She loved spending weekends on a boat that they owned docked at a marina in Atlantic City. Joyce loved the sun and could spend hours floating in their pool or sitting on the dock enjoying great friends and conversation. She had an infectious smile and laugh that everyone loved.

"Bubbie" was a huge Disney enthusiast and loved Mickey Mouse. She was also an animal lover, especially a dog lover. She always had to have a dog or two in the house. She will be missed by her current dog, Max.

Although she will be greatly missed by those who love her, we are grateful that she has been reunited with her loving husband and son. The sky is always blue over Bubbie and PopPop's house. We were blessed.

Family and friends are invited to funeral services on Tuesday May 3rd, 2022, 11:00am precisely, at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks, 6410 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA .
