Age 81, died peacefully at home, on April 3, 2017. Beloved wife of Mitchell. Devoted mother of Larry (Claire Curtis), Jonathan (Caroline), and Helene (Michael Adlin). Beloved grand-mother of Nina, Adam, Lauren, Brian, Becca, and Heath. Joyce was retired from teaching at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School (in Manhattan) and the former Foreman Hebrew Day School and Solomon Schechter Day School (now the Barrack Hebrew Academy). Her many organizational activities, to which donations may be made, included Nat'l Council of Jewish Women (Greater Phila. Section), Jewish Family and Children's Serv. of Greater Phila., and Assoc. Servs. for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Funeral services to be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Interment at Mt. Sharon Cem. Shiva to be observed at her late residence.
