JOSEPH LINSK

JOSEPH "YUSSIE" LINSK on October 12, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Schwartz). Loving father of David (Sylvia), Howard (Robin Pastor), and Rick (Nancy Crotti). Adored Pop-Pop of Ali Linsk (Joe) Butash, Jordyn Linsk (Jamie) Machotka, Roni Altman (Rustin) Silberstein, the late Beth Altman Rakowski, Hannah Linsk, and Madeleine Linsk. Loving great-grandfather of Devon Font, Max Silberstein, Taryn Silberstein, Logan Rakowski, and Bennett Leo Machotka, Big brother of the late Morton Linsk. Always the sharpest one in the room, Yus was an esteemed salesman for many years at Jack Lang Clothes in the Oxford Valley Mall and Fleet's in Northeast Philadelphia. He was proud of and enthusiastic about his role coordinating many South Philly reunions ("Lest We Forget! The Corners, Our World"). He served in the U.S. Navy. He and Lorraine were married 65 years before her passing in 2015.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Graveside Services and Interment Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 12 Noon, Shalom Memorial Park, Abraham section. Cemetery entrance located across from 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Shiva will be observed at the late residence Tuesday commencing 3 P.M., and will continue Wednesday, and Thursday.
