Grandfather of Nathan Katz, Jillian Katz, Andrew Katz, Marisa Katz, Melissa Freed and Aimee Freed. Lived all of his life in Philadelphia. Graduate of Drexel University (BSME, MSEE). Professional Engineer for Philco and General Electric (NASA projects), teacher at Middle Bucks Area Vocational-Technical High School, Adjunct Professor at Bucks Country Community College, Assistant Professor at Trenton State College, and Professional Engineer for US Navy for aerial refueling. Services are private. Contributions in his memory may be made to Cure Alzheimer's fund or to Adath Jeshurun (Elkins Park, PA).
