KLEINMAN
JOSEF. On October 16, 2013. Josef Kleinman's journey on this earth peacefully ended at the age of 92. As a WWII concentration camp survivor, Israeli citizen and U.S. immigrant, he lived a life of courage, integrity and love for his family. Josef is survived by the love of his life for 68 years, Lili Perlman. Together they recorded their personal account of hardship in the concentration camps of occupied Nazi Germany, their successful reunion and a detailed account of their lives, archived in the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC.
He is also survived by his daughter, Frieda Podolsky; son, Dr. Michael Kleinman and his wife Jacklyn; his grandchildren, Janna and Jerry Freishtat, Aaron and Megan Podolsky, Steven and David Kleinman and great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Ethan and Hayden. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 20th, 3 P.M. precisely, at Roosevelt Memorial Park (Sec. B-7), 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy., Trevose PA. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holocaust Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Pl., SW, Washington DC 20024-2126, or National Breast Cancer Fdn.
