Jordana Ariel Ostroff

Jordana Ariel Ostroff (nee Linhardt) of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025 in Philadelphia, PA surrounded by her loved ones.

Jordana was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to Sheryl (nee Grubman) and Dr. Harry Linhardt on September 22, 1982. She attended Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls, NY where she graduated in 2000. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Communications from American University in Washington, DC in 2004 and Masters Degree in Education and Human Development/Counseling from George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2010.

She worked as a school counselor for years afterward, only until her cancer diagnosis prevented her from continuing. She enjoyed reading and following current events but her greatest interest, by far, was in her two beautiful daughters.

Jordana is survived by her loving husband, Loren Ostroff of Philadelphia, Pa, daughters Avery (8) and Layla (11) of Philadelphia, Pa, parents Sheryl and Harry Linhardt of Philadelphia, Pa, brother Evan (Caitlin) Linhardt and nieces Sydney (7) and Margot (4) and nephew Julian (8mo) of Collingswood, NJ. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Carli Ostroff and mother-in-law Judi Ostroff (nee Rubinow) of Wynnewood PA.

Jordana demonstrated unmatched strength and perseverance as she underwent 9 life-saving treatments over her 18-year battle with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Even through the hardest of times-including countless procedures, she never uttered one complaint. Jordana is the epitome of a warrior and fought an arduous battle until the very end.
