JONATHAN WEINBERGER KAMEN, born August 24, 1962, suddenly passed away on December 20, 2013. Dr. Kamen graduated from Germantown Academy High School. He received his baccalaureate degree from the University of Delaware. He enrolled in the University of Health and Sciences in Kansas City, MO where he received his medical degree. Dr. Kamen did his internship at Atlantic City Medical Center. He went on to complete his fellowship in Cardiology at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. Dr. Kamen practiced cardiology in the state of Delaware and was on staff at both Christiana and St. Francis Hospitals. Dr. Kamen was voted "One of Delaware's Top Cardiologists." Dr. Kamen was known for his dedication and compassion. He is survived by his son Ross; daughter Abby; wife Alice; his mother and father Elinor (Weinberger) and Joseph Kamen; his brothers Bruce (Randi) and Craig (Claudia) Kamen; and his many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services Monday, 11 AM precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Int. Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the home of Elinor and Joseph Kamen Monday afternoon and evening. The balance of shiva will take place at the Mather House, The Hills at Whitemarsh, Lafayette, Hill, PA Tuesday through Thursday beginning 7 PM. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
