Wife of the late Allen Stone, sister of the late Bette Ann, Ronnie Pleet and Larry Pleet.
Cherished mother of Amy (Ellis) Danny (Vanessa) and Julie (Dr. Paul). Adored grandmother of Maggie (Josh Mindlin), Dave, Jessica, Sydney, Jack and Eva. Great-grandmother of Lila.
Jill was an artist and an art therapist. Through her work she was able to reach children with autism long before recent times when so much more is known about this disorder. Later, she and friend and business partner successfully launched Corporate Art Associates which selected and furnished works for law, medicine and business offices in Philadelphia and its suburbs. She taught art to senior citizens and was a beloved docent at the Philadelphia Art Museum and a loyal volunteer at the Inglis House Wheelchair Community for many years.
Above all, Jill was the consummate artist of friendship, loved by everyone whose lives she touched.
The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to Dorothy Watkins, Donna Miller and Tara Cook as well as the staff at the Gardens of Watermark.
Funeral services private.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Inglis House.
