JEROME WEISS

With overwhelming sadness, we announce the death of Jerome Weiss (Jerry). Jerry was born and raised in Philadelphia never wanting to live any further than Bala Cynwyd, a place he called home. Jerry traveled extensively, and was passionate about history, baseball and hamburgers. He was proud of graduating from Overbrook High School and Temple University with a BA in history, served four years in the Army, and completed his Secondary Education teaching certificate in one year. Jerry went to teach 33 years in Camden, New Jersey more than 15 of those years at Pyne Point Middle School. There Jerry met Agnes Pineiro, the love of his life, with whom he got married and had two beautiful children which he adored. He will be missed by his wife Agnes, his son Ernesto, his sister Marilyn and his Puerto Rican family. Shiva will be held on Thursday March 29th at 7:00 PM at Academy House 30Q 15th and Locust Philadelphia, PA where we will celebrate his life.
