JEROME I., a retired hematologist and professor of medicine, on Sept. 20, 2007 at the age of 79 of congestive heart failure, with his family nearby. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, class of 1952, Dr. Brody dedicated his life to medicine; patient care, teaching, research and publication. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, the Honorable Anita B. Brody, his sister Sheila, his 3 children, Lisa, Marion and Timothy, and his 8 grandchildren. His family will be receiving close friends at his home on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 5 to 9 P.M. Contributions may be sent to the Jerome I. Brody, M.D. Memorial, in care of Jefferson Medical College, 929 Chestnut St., Suite 110, Phila., PA 19107.
