In Loving Memory of Jeremy Lawrence Greenberg
September 23, 1978 – October 8, 2025
Jeremy Lawrence Greenberg left this Earth without warning on October 8, 2025. Born on September 23, 1978, to Dr. James Greenberg and the late Linda Greenberg, Jeremy grew up in a happy East Mount Airy family alongside his sister, Jenna. His early years were marked by warmth, curiosity, and a strong sense of community.
Jeremy’s journey led him to Pittsburgh for high school, where he distinguished himself as a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program at Schenley High School. A lifelong supporter of diversity and inclusion, he chose to return to an urban setting for college, earning a degree in sociology from Temple University.
Jeremy’s approach to life was to learn by doing. His career was a tapestry of diverse experiences, beginning as a Starbucks barista and culminating in his role as a procurement manager at Arkema, a French chemical company. No matter the job, Jeremy was known for his boundless energy, his unmistakable sense of humor, and a can-do attitude that inspired those around him.
Above all, Jeremy was a lover of people. He nurtured friendships that lasted many years, forging connections that enriched his life and the lives of those he met. His warmth and loyalty touched family, friends, colleagues, and his community.
Jeremy leaves behind his wife of sixteen years, Leslie, and their two beloved children, Raya Belle and Clyde Levi, both students in the Cheltenham schools. He is also survived by his father, Dr. James Greenberg and his dad’s beloved partner, Bess; his uncles, Michael, Jeff, and Bob; his aunts Jayne and Karen; his cousins Angela, Jason, Stephanie, Molly, and Eliza; and countless friends and colleagues from every chapter of his life.
Jeremy will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donations can be made to the National MS Society.
