Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Irwin Smith, 72, of Rydal, Pennsylvania and Mount Laurel, New Jersey passed away on August 13th, 2026 -- finally at peace after battling a lengthy illness. Jeff was the devoted brother of the late Howard Smith (Jeanne Kolodner) and Barry Smith (Ruth), and loving uncle to Eliana Smith and Aaron Smith; he was predeceased by his parents David Smith and Gertrude (Trudy) Smith. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services on Sunday, August 16th, 2026 11:00am at Montefiore Cemetery. Shiva will be privately observed, at the family's request; friends and family will gather for a celebration of Jeff's life at a future date. Contributions in Jeff's memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
