Jeffrey Michael Miller

Jeffrey Michael Miller, 81, of Berwyn, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Devoted husband of 56 years to Linda Marie Miller, father of Erik Miller and Tiffany Lehman, father-in-law to Steve Lehman, grandfather to Brett, Kyle, Carly, and Akiva, brother to Sandy Reynolds, brother-in-law to David Reynolds, uncle to Chloe (Deroald) Hopkins and Grace (Mike) Hermida.

Born in South Philly to Dr. Herman and Miriam Miller, Jeff was raised in Kingsessing and Lower Merion. He went on to graduate from Temple University and John Marshall Law School before becoming a celebrated attorney, serving as Chief of the Criminal Division of the US Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia. Later, he partnered with colleague and dear friend, Carmen Nasuti Sr., in forming a successful criminal defense firm called Nasuti and Miller, specializing in federal, white-collar, and organized crime. He never fully retired, representing his clients in federal court for the last time earlier this year.

Jeff loved teaching and taught legal courses at UPenn Law, Temple Law, Lehigh, Neumann, Drexel, and Penn State Universities. He also provided continuing education classes to fellow lawyers in Pennsylvania throughout his life. A skilled public speaker with a sense of humor, Jeff had a gift for clarifying complex subjects and making them understandable to the layman.

Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Sunday December 29 at 1 PM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors, 6410 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126.
