Jeannette Israel

Jeannette Israel (nee Lacoff) passed away peacefully on November 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of her high school sweetheart, the late Ray Israel, for over 70 years. Mother of Alan (Sharon) Israel and Michael (Helene Morgera) Israel. Sister of the late Gerson (Terry) Lacoff. Grandmother of Richard (Dauretanya Sweeney), Harrison and Brett Israel. Great Grandmother of Serenity and Elias. Beloved Aunt of Lance (Alyssa) Lacoff. She had a life filled with family, friends, and love. It was a life well lived. She and Ray traveled the world extensively, attended concerts, operas, the theater, and explored fine dining in Philadelphia. She was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and especially loved living in Center City Philadelphia. She worked for the School District of Philadelphia as an administrative assistant at the Masterman School for over 30 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday, December 1^st, 11:00 AM precisely at Shalom Memorial Park (Sec. Jacob II), 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Contributions in Jeannette’s memory may be made to the Jewish War Veterans.
