Jean-Paul “JP” Banyacski, 58, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 12, 2025, in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
He will be forever missed by his parents, Jean and Paul, his sister Marika (Roz), his wife Jennifer, his sons Henry and Jonah, and his beloved dog Grunt.
JP, was a sports guy. He was a big Packers fan and with baseball, he watched all teams, following different players as they moved about the league. He had a vast knowledge of baseball present day and back when teams and leagues were just beginning.
Whether he spent time standing on the water banks or in a boat, he loved to fish, especially with his sons.
Music also played a big role in his life. His appreciation for all different types of music reflected the thoughtful and expressive spirit he carried with him. Tom Waits and Frank Zappa being favorites he shared with both Jonah and Henry.
JP loved riding and building motorcycles. Racing motocross was a big part of his life where he could combine fun and the element of danger at the same time.
JP’s wishes were that his ashes would be scattered in Yachats, Oregon— many family vacations have been taken there and it was a place where he loved spending endless hours watching the ocean and having fun with his family.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
