Janet Kritz Miller, age 80, of Phila, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. 

Born on February 6, 1946, in Phila, PA, she was the daughter of Robert & Lillian Kritz. She graduated from Temple University and went on to a career as an English teacher and reading specialist for 45 years in the School District of Philadelphia and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Fred; her daughter Frannie, daughter Rachel and husband Sean Kitchen, and son Matthew and wife Andrea Miller; her grandchildren, Jackson, Megan, Ryan, Emily, and AJ; sister Myra Segal; sister-in-law Carole Alexander; and a community of dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:30 am at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg's, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. No shiva to follow the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
