Jacob Richman

Jacob Richman (Jack), age 93 � died December 31, 2016
Jack was father to Beth Richman (companion Jack Cramer), Elaine Richman-Gaudin (husband Thierry Gaudin), Joyce Richman (husband Rick Starr) and Rosellen Richman Zabala (husband Christopher Zabala) and grandfather to Nicholas Zabala. He was married to the late Joan Dubin Richman and dear friend to the late Doris Dillingham.
Jack was active for 40 years in his small but thriving scrap metal business. He spent four years in the service during World War II and received a commendation by two generals. Stationed in Normandy, France and Rhineland for the American forces in the European Campaign, he received the African Medal, Eastern Company Medal, three Bronze Stars and a World War II Victory Ribbon.
He is the eldest of five children and is survived by his youngest sister Ruth Richman Silverman.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral service on Monday January 9 at Limerick Garden of Memories Chapel, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. Receiving is at 10:30am and service beings at 11:30am followed by graveside words and military honors. Reception to follow at the Abramson Center for Jewish Life, 1425 Horsham Road, North Wales, PA 19454.
