Jacob "Jay" Pensak

Jacob "Jay" Martin Pensak passed away on March 17, 2024 after a long illness.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 8, 1940, the son of Sara and Harry Pensak.  He served in the US Navy in the 1960’s and married Marian Schneider on August 1, 1965.

Jacob is survived by his older sister Rebekah, his two children Karen and Douglas, their spouses, Sean and Jessica, and his grandson Brady. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marian.

Jacob was a court reporter for the city of Philadelphia for over 50 years. He was a big fan of New York sports, traveling, food, and movies. 

There was a private service held for the immediate family, but contributions in his memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike, Ste 300, Rockville Maryland MD 20852 or to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield VA, 22116.
