Ivan Silverstein

SILVERSTEIN, IVAN JAY, 50 - of Northfield, passed away due to a lengthy illness on January 6, 2006. Mr. Silverstein was born in Atlantic City and raised in Margate. He was a graduate of Atlantic City High School and worked in the food service industry for many years. Mr. Silverstein enjoyed music, horticulture, and was an avid animal-lover. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Silverstein of Margate; his son, Ryan Alexander of Egg Harbor Township; his sister, Lea Bennard of Somers Point; his brother, Merrill Silverstein of Margate; and five nieces and nephews: Marla and Molly Bennard, and Jason, Aaron and Eric Silverstein. Mr. Silverstein will be remembered for his happy-go lucky personality, his big smile that would light up the lives of others and his positive attitude. Funeral services, held on Monday, January 9, 2006 at Goldstein, Rosenberg, Raphael-Sacks Inc. Funeral Home, were followed by a burial at Har Nebo Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
