ISAAC L. 'IKE', August 28, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Kotzker);devoted father of David Askin and William (Marla) Askin; dear brother of Charlotte Vineburg; also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Temple University and Former Owner of Shorty's Auto Parts from 1962 to 1981. He served in WWII in Europe with the 1st, 3rd and 9th Armies in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and Germany as a member of a Now Advance Team, entered Paris with French Forces on August 28, 1944 in the Liberation of Paris. He was a member of American Legion Post #4 and former member of Paris Post as well as other organizations. He was active in the Congregations of Ner Zedek, serving on it's board and served 3 terms as Past President of it's Mens Club. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Service Sunday 11:30 A.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed Sunday only at the residence of William and Marla Askin. Contributions in his memory may be made to Congregations of Ner Zedek or charity of the donor's choice.
