ROSENBERG
DR. IRVING ROSENBERG, M.D., age 89 of Rydal, PA went to his eternal rest peacefully with dignity and love on Oct 5, 2006 at Abington Memorial Hospital. Growing up in Phila. Dr. Rosenberg was the adored only child of Samuel and Silvia Rosenberg. A graduate of Simon Gratz High School, Dr. Rosenberg went on to earn his undergraduate and medical degrees from Temple University. During WWII Dr. Rosenberg served with the 393rd Special Service Engineers as a Medical Captain throughout England and France. Dr. Rosenberg's life and legacy reflect a never ending devotion to his family and friends, as well as to the practice of medicine. He was a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Many of his patients and the doctors and nurses who worked with Dr. Rosenberg will remember him for his incisive intelligence, consummate skill and compassionate manner. Dr. Rosenberg is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Rosalie "Peachie" Rosenberg; sons and daughters-in-law Dr. Randy M. (Ellen) Rosenberg, Dr. Robin E. (Irene) Rosenberg and Peter (Abbe) Rosenberg, Esq.; and grandchildren Adam, Samantha, Jan, John and Christopher. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Sun. Oct. 8th, 11:30 A.M. precisely, at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park.
