A7200HYAMS March 26, 2002 IRVING of Boca Raton FL and Atlantic City N.J., formerly of Phila.; husband of Ada (nee Ciplet), father of David Hyams and Warren (Liz) Hyams, grandfather of Hannah, Sara and Jack. He graduated from Central High School, Drexel University and continued to take courses at Florida Atlantic University after retirement. A WWII veteran, he received the Liberation of France Medal, recognizing his landing in Normandy and participation in the liberation of France. He was an electronics engineer at Fischer and Porter before retirement. He was a volunteer for Israel (SAREL) and an active member of William Portner Lodge of B'nai Brith. He was a member of Beth Judah, Ventnor N.J., Beth Ami, Boca Raton FL and Melrose B'nai Israel Emanu-El, Cheltenham PA. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday 11:30 A.M. GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Interment Montefiore Cemetery. Family will be at the residence of Warren and Liz Hyams on Friday, Saturday evening and Sunday.
