IRVING R., age 91, June 5, 2013. Beloved husband of Pearl (nee Flicker). Father of Bruce (Cynthia) and Dr. Robert. Grandfather of Jill, Jason, Jack and Josef. Mr. Cohen was a veteran of WW II and received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. As a Master Sergeant in the 99th Infantry Division, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge, The Remagen Bridge and the Battle of the Ruhr Pocket. After the war, Mr. Cohen worked in the woman's hosiery business. A long time employee of the Hanes Hosiery Co. He finished his career as Sales Manager for the North-eastern United States. After his retirement Mr. Cohen served as a volunteer at Lankenau Hospital for more than 22 years.
