Blumenthal Irma Jean (nee Perez), wife of the late Robert E. Blumenthal, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2025 surrounded by her three loving daughters, Randi (Jon) Joseph; Ellen (Winston) Churchill and Tina (Albert, Jr.) Small. Irma was blessed with 8 grandchildren: Stephen Bachow; Noah (Gabby) Bachow; John (Dunham) Churchill; Tyler (Tavi) Joseph; Bari Joseph; Ryan (Jason) Seidman; Albert N. Small; Marshall (Emily) Small and 6 great grandchildren.

 Irma was a fashion icon, always impeccably dressed, and never had a ‘hair out of place’. She cherished reading books and her daily newspapers. She was well versed on every issue of the hour or day..and always had an opinion! Irma was feisty, loyal and a straight shooter. She had boundless energy and was always ready to attend dinners, concerts, lectures and other public events. Her travel adventures with friends and her family were her greatest joys. Longboat Key, with Robert and Atlantic City with four generations. Robert and she were involved with YPO and PPO. She loved jazz concerts, art museums, glass collecting and procuring fashion trends. Irma was a fierce advocate for children and helping those less fortunate. She was an only child, and was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Benjamin Perez. She grew up in Wynnefield, PA and raised her family in Melrose Park, PA,Robert and Irma spent their golden years in their beloved Longboat Key Florida. Savoring the beautiful beaches and dreamy sunsets.

We are grateful for her wonderful and kind caregivers Violetta, Lee and Gloria.

A private graveside funeral, FOR FAMILY ONLY, will be held.
