Scharfberg

 Irene (nee Sussman), died on May 4, 2023. She was born in Bronx, New York to her loving parents, Joseph and May Sussman.

She was a great and caring mother, a devoted wife, and a doting grandmother.  She was active until the illness got the better of her, but enjoyed golf, cards, theater, movies and books.  She'd drop everything to help anyone in need, sometimes that included strangers like the time she was volunteering at the Visitor's Center in Philadelphia and brought home tourists for Passover!  

Everyone who knew her would say to me since I was a child, "I love your mother!"  She was kind, caring and a good friend to many.

Irene is survived by her loving daughter Vicki Scharfberg, grandsons Josh (Marissa) Scharfberg and Adam Scharfberg and her great grandsons Dax and Reid. She is predeceased in death by her beloved husband Sheldon and her loving son Doug.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Service Sunday, May 7, 2023, 11:00am at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA.
