I. JERRY, March 13, 2015. Husband of Sondra (nee Wenick); Father of Ron (Abbie Fuksman) and Tammy Leopold; Grandfather of Max Leopold. Dr. Leopold was born in Phila. on June 25, 1931 and raised in Haddon Heights, NJ where his father owned the well known Leopold's Pharmacy. Dr. Leopold was a graduate of Central HS in Phila. He graduated Phila. Pharmacy College and Phila. College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1959. He served in the US Navy during that time. He opened his practice in 1961 and was still making house calls to patients until 2003. He was a practicing family physician for over 40 yrs. in the Olney Section of Phila. Jerry had a larger than life presence, who lived life fully and made his mark on everyone he met. He was devoted to family, to friends and to his thousands of patients.
