Herbert Kaplan,on December 18, 2016. Beloved husband of Deena (nee Phillips). Devoted father of Sherry Appleton (Thomas), Perry Kaplan, and Barry Kaplan. Dear brother of Zachary Bennett Kaplan and the late Betty Lerner and the late Bernice Kaplan. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Ronald, and Rachel Laub. He was a mason, a Shriner, a member of Steuben Lodge-Knights of Pythias, and a founding member of Bustleton-Somerton Synagogue. He was also instrumental in forming a Boy Scout Troop for handicapped children. He also was a recipient of the Legion of Honor Award from the Chapel of the 4 Chaplains for his work with handicapped children. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday at the community room of Centennial Station, Warminster, PA and on Wednesday and Thursday at his late residence.
