Henry (Hank) Sliwowicz, born on October 1, 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on June 22, 2024 at Heritage Point Nursing Home. His sudden death has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his brothers, David and Irwin Sliwowicz, and his aunt Gertrude Sliwowicz. His extended family includes cousins David (from Canada), Michael, David (from Israel) and their immediate family members.
In the loving memory of Henry (Hank) are his deceased family members: Joseph and Leah Sliwowicz (parents), Jack, Morris and Kalman Sliwowicz (uncles), Tovah Sliwowicz (aunt), and Ornella Sliwowicz (sister-in-law).
He was well-liked by all those who had the pleasure of interacting with him. Henry's enthusiasm and passion for Philadelphia sports teams (especially the Flyers) will forever be remembered. He actively engaged in group activities offered at the nursing facility where he resided.
A graveside service to honor and remember him will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Shalom Memorial Park in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. The service will begin at 11:30 AM, providing an opportunity for all who knew him to pay their final respects.
Although we mourn the loss, his memory will not fade in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. May he finally rest in peace.
