Helene Barbara Silberg (nee Wortman), passed away on April 29, 2026. Helene was a devoted wife of 59 years to Donald (deceased). Mother of Jane (Marc) Greenberg and Jon (Karen) Silberg. Grandmother of Sarah and Sydney Silberg.

Helene was known for her nurturing heart, adventurous spirit, and the warmth she brought to her home and community.

A dedicated homemaker, Helene transformed her house into a welcoming haven for family and friends alike. She had passion for flower arranging, art and crafting, making her home a reflection of the love she shared with all who entered.

Beyond her homemaking, she was a volunteer at the Jewish Museum, the local elementary school library, and breast cancer awareness organizations. Helene had a passion for arts and crafts. She was a world traveler with her husband.

Yet, no matter how far she traveled, her heart always returned to the shore. Helene spent many cherished summers in Margate, where she could be found watching the tide roll in, conversing with her friends and family, and creating a legacy of summer joy for her children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services, Sunday, precisely at 11 AM at Montefiore Cemetery (Section Sarah). 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History or to the Pennsylvania SPCA.
