Harriet Lassin (nee Joslow), of Elkins Park, passed away on May 4, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Lassin, devoted mother of Gary (Robin) Lassin and Lynne (Bill) Garbose. She was the proud grandmother of Stefanie, Rick, Jonathan (Rebecca) and Michael (Samantha) and great-grandmother of Vance, Logan, Emma and Rosie.

Harriet was an integral part of the family business, Harriet Carter Gifts, and was a great lover of art, antiques, travel and family. She was a people person was loved by all she met for her vibrant personality and kind nature. 

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 6 at 2:30 PM precisely at the Roosevelt Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA 19053, followed by Shiva at the home of Lynne Garbose. Interment will be private and precede the service.

Contributions in Harriet’s memory may be made to the charity of donor’s choice or to the Harriet and Ronald Lassin Newborn/Infant Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
