Harriet (Honey) Avery

It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the unexpected passing of Harriet “Honey” Avery. Born on April 21, 1944, in Philadelphia, Honey lived a full and vibrant life marked by her unwavering joy, boundless energy, and deep devotion to her family.

Honey was the beloved mother of Todd Avery, cherished mother-in-law to Stayci Avery, and adoring Mommom to her granddaughters, Sydni and Taylor Avery. She was the heart of her family—the one who walked into every room and immediately lit it up. Her warmth, laughter, and radiant smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She had an incredible zest for life. From travel and theater to action movies and great food, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm and gratitude. A talented jeweler for much of her life, Honey found great joy in helping others celebrate their happiest occasions.

Her journey took her from her roots in Philadelphia to California, Arizona, and Reno, before returning to the Philadelphia suburbs to be near the family she treasured most. During her time working at Acme, Honey’s magnetism drew customers in—people came not just to shop, but to see her.

She will be remembered as the most amazing mother and Mommom, a woman who loved deeply, lived joyfully, and uplifted all who were lucky enough to know her. Her legacy is one of laughter, love, and an enduring spirit that will never be forgotten.
