Gregory Keith Maier

Gregory Keith Maier, age 56, of Philadelphia passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Messics, and is predeceased by his parents Louise and Joel Maier and his sister Allison Maier. Greg grew up in Philadelphia where he graduated in the 243rd class of Central High School.

He earned his Bachelor's degree at Pennsylvania State University and his Master's degree in Computer Science at Drexel University. Greg had a long career as a software developer at organizations including Mobil, Towers Perrin, and International SOS. For the last nine years he has worked for the Philadelphia Water Department as part of the City's Office of Innovation and Technology.

Greg notably would do anything for his friends, his family, and his pets. He was kind, generous, and funny. Greg was passionate about computers, loved gaming, and was always eager to help anyone with their computer questions.

After a five year battle with cancer, everyone who loved Greg is grateful to know that he is finally at peace. A graveside service will be held at King David Memorial Park on January 22nd at 12 noon. All are welcome.
