Gordon Saul

Gordon Saul, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully passed away at the age of 90 on Monday, July 24, 2023, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Born on October 11, 1932, Gordon lived a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of countless people.

Gordon's journey began with humble roots, but his determination and entrepreneurial spirit led him to become a prominent Real Estate Owner/Developer in the Northeast Region. For the past 50 years, he nurtured and built 'Saul Associates' from the ground up, leaving a lasting impact on the communities he served.
Before venturing into real estate, Gordon had a successful career in the retail industry, helping expand Saul’s Department Store. He carried the lessons learned from his early days throughout his life, always striving for excellence and inspiring those around him.

Beyond his professional achievements, Gordon cherished the time spent with his loving family and friends. Whether playing a lively game of tennis or engaging in a friendly poker match in the card room, he found joy in sharing these moments with his loved ones.

Gordon's infectious personality radiated intelligence, charisma, and humor. He was always the bearer of positivity, spreading warmth and kindness with his words and actions. His ability to find humor in any situation brought light to the darkest moments, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Survived by his loving wife, Linda, and his two children, Barbara (Richard) and Zane (Cindy), Gordon leaves behind a legacy that extends to his brother, Irving, step-children, David (Carl) and Brandy, five adoring grandchildren, Allison, Melissa (Alex) Ariel (Jason) Grant (Rachael), and Lily (Josh), and two great-grandchildren, Avery and Lucy. He is preceded in death by his late first wife, Arlene (d. 1988).

Gordon's family will hold a family-only, private Graveside service on Wednesday morning, July 26, followed by a 1:00 PM Memorial Service. The family will begin receiving at 12:30 PM at Beth Sholom Congregation, 8231 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
