Gloria Pliner

Gloria Pliner (nee Hunn) passed away on October 27, 2026. Wife of the late David E. Pliner, she was the cherished mother of Jayne Pliner and a beloved Tanta to the Markus, Rosenblatt, Spellman and Pliner families. Gloria was simply the best, a light in the lives of everyone she touched. A lifelong Philadelphian, Gloria lived in NYC for the past six years.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM at Mount Sharon Cemetery, 502 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064 (Section T). 

Shiva will be observed at the home of Jayne Pliner on Sunday night at 6:30-9:00 PM, and on Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon until 8:30 PM.

Contributions in Gloria’s memory may be made to Jewish Federations of North America.
