DR. GLORIA, born December 10, 1935, passed away February 4, 2013, age 77. She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Dion; her devoted sons, Marshall (Barbara), Gary (Shirley) and Josh Cohen (Jenny); and her 4 grandchildren, Jake, Jordyn, Julie and Noah. Also surviving are Sam's children, Jeffrey and Alan Dion and Judith Londa (Bruce) and grandchildren, Abby, Jacob and Sebastien.
Gloria taught at Bloomsburg University in the Political Science Department until her untimely passing. She served as Department Chair and in many leadership roles.
Gloria devoted her life to her family, students and many causes including American Jewish Congress, JCRC, along with many numerous community organizations.
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Thursday, 10 A.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Int. Mt. Sharon Cem. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Marshall and Barbara Cohen, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday eves.
