What can I say about my husband Glenn?   This spring we would have been together 51 years and married 43 years.  Of course our marriage wasn't perfect, but no matter where we were in our lives there was always love. Unlike myself Glenn could speak to anyone with ease.  I don't think there was a topic of discussion that he could not intelligently communicate. I always admired that.

His whit and humor always made people smile and laugh.  When we were young his friends compared him to Chevy Chase.

Our son Darren came into our lives on January 5, 1984.  He was so proud to be a dad and loved every moment of it.  And of course at an early age Darren was familiar with the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and the 76rs.  Darren was involved with each of these sports with the exception of football, this was my call in which Darren will never forgive me.

Later on in life Glenn shared his love with the neighborhood stray cats.  He claims it's because of a statement I made on snowy winters day.  "Glenn how are the cats going to find food to eat?"  He picked up a bowl filled it with cat food and another with water,  opened our garage door just enough for the cats to enter and put the bowls down.  This went on for many years.  He cared for as many 18 cats.  When Glenn's health prevented him from continuing our neighbor Patricia was kind enough to take over for Glenn.  This eased his troubled mind concerning the cats. But even with this, everyday he would ask how the cats were.

I could go on and on but I'll leave at this, that Glenn was a loving are caring man to all.

With all my love, Joyce
