Gladys M. Tarlow
Gladys M. Tarlow, 91, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 21, 2011 at her home in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Sidney Tarlow, of Philadelphia and daughter of the late Phillip and Bessie (Weisman) Marks. She was a graduate of West Philadelphia H.S., and served as a public school secretary at Overbrook Elementary School in Philadelphia for over 20 years prior to her retirement. Survivors: Daughters, Ellen T. Weidner, of Bethlehem, with whom she resided, and Meryl S. Wendell Vogrin, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Carrie Wendell Ellis, of Colorado, Leslie Wendell Tufano, of Colorado, Brandon P. Wendell, of California, Julie Shanson, of California, and Abigail Brody, of New York City. She was also the proud great-grandmother of nine. Services: 11 a.m. Sunday, February 27, at Goldsteins Rosenbergs Raphael Sacks, 6410 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, followed by interment in Mt. Sharon Cemetery, Springfield, Delaware County, PA.
