GLADYS SIMON
It is with great sadness that the family of Gladys Simon announce her passing. Born on February 18, 1927, our beloved 95 year old mother, grandmother and great grandmother departed this world on March 06, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin, in 1998.
Throughout her long life, Gladys was a friend to many, including The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Curtis Institute of Music and The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her outer beauty was only superseded by her generosity, caring and kind-hearted nature.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Gayle Block, son Michael Simon, sons-in-law Richard Block and Marshall Silverstein, grandchildren Lauren Block and her spouse Grant Bursek, Joshua Block and his partner Belinda Huang and their son, Kai Block, Gladys' great grandson.
