Steinberg, a cherished and devoted family man, passed away on February 17, 2026, at Doylestown Hospital, supported by his loving wife, Linda Steinberg, and their sons Jay and Stuart. He was born on October 2, 1943, in Philadelphia to Albert and Sarah (Sally) Steinberg and went on to lead a remarkable life characterized by hard work, love, and laughter.

Jerry had a distinguished career as the Chief Financial Officer for Curtis Circulation Company, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his profession as he diligently rose through the ranks. His academic journey began at Overbrook High School, and he proudly earned his Bachelor's degree from Temple University.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry was loved for his warmth and humor. He had a unique ability to share engaging stories about his childhood and career, captivating those around him with both laughter and sincerity. His personality reflected a delightful balance between a comedic spirit and deep compassion for those he loved. He was always eager to learn and grow, inspiring others with his dedication to self-improvement.

A runner and tennis fan, Jerry found joy in staying active, which complemented his love for spending quality time with his family. He was most proud of the life he built with his wife, with whom he shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage and his children and grandchildren who brought him the greatest joy. He took immense pride in his sons, Jay Steinberg and Stuart Steinberg, and their families. Jay, along with his wife Jennifer, blessed Jerry with three beautiful grandchildren: Lindsay, Joshua, and Ethan. Stuart and his wife Carrie also grew the family legacy with their three lovely children: Hannah, Emily, and Olivia.

Jerry fought a long and courageous battle with cancer for over six years, meeting every challenge with grace and the unwavering support of his wife by his side. His remarkable journey through life leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever live on through his family and friends. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the depth of love he shared and the stories that ignited joy in the lives of those who knew him.
