Gerald "Jerry" Jay

Gerald "Jerry" Ian Jay of Philadephia, PA, passed away on March 15, 2024 after a long illness. He was born April 4, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Rose (Broker) Jay and Carl Jay. He married Arlene Fisher, February 24, 1962 in Philadelphia. He graduated from Olney High School in 1958, served in the US Army, and had a long career as a real estate agent and broker of his own office. Jerry's biggest passion was being an integral part of the Freemasons of Pennsylvania and Shriners. He was a past Worshipful Master (5 times) past Potentate (2019) of LuLu Shriners.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Arlene (Fisher) Jay, his sister, Bobbi (Jay) Alpert, his two chidren David and Cindy, her husband, Phil Wasdick and his grandchildren, Allison and Jonathan. He is preceded in death by his sister Arlene (Jay) Faracchio. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Tuesday, March 19 at 11:30 am, Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966.
