GEORGETTE PENZUR

PENZUR GEORGETTE M. (nee GOLA) Passed away on April 18, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA, at 86 years old. Georgette valued her family and friends, education, culture and the arts, and she had meaningful impact on the people in her life. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and had three accomplished careers: first as a teacher, then as an art dealer and finally as an entrepreneur, as the owner of Born Yesterday children's store in Philadelphia. Georgette is survived by her husband Bruce, sons Jordan Mersky (Liesl Henderson) and Alex Mersky (Jessica), grandchildren Lachlan, Lily, Sasha, and Zachary, and cousin, Rochelle Silfen.
