Compassionate physician and world traveler, Gary was exceptionally creative with his hands - reconstructing antique sports cars, music boxes, vintage pinball machines and model airplanes throughout his lifetime. He was a celebrated and highly respected radiologist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. But he was most passionate about being the beloved husband of the late Sandra Shaber, father of Ruth Shaber and the late Steven Shaber, father-in-law of Lisa Shaber, grandfather of Allison, Madeline and Hannah, and uncle of Samantha and Remy Shaber.
