FREDA, 96 years old. Wife of the late Irving, loving mother of Joan (Moe) Mandelkehr and Alvin (Rena) Borowsky; grandmother of Dean Borowsky, Larry (Holly) Mandelkehr, Karen (Don) Pallies; great grand-mother of Heather and Ryan, Michael and Daniel. Born in Phila., raised in Czechoslovakia where she became fluent in 6 European languages. At age 18, she returned to the US leaving her parents and 7 brothers and sisters. After WWII she reunited with all of her brothers and sisters who survived the holocaust. Her strong will and love for her children gave her strength and she was loved in return, and will be missed by her family and friends. Private Funeral Services were held at Shalom Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
