Fred Sklut

Fred Sklut of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away at age 82 on January 31, 2026.

He was born in 1943 and raised in Philadelphia. He attended Northeast High School before joining the Army. Throughout his life he lived in Philadelphia and Bucks County, before relocating to Florida. He enjoyed playing golf, cards, watching his Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents Sara and Arthur, his sisters Etta and Eleanor and his brother Jack.

He is survived by his children Arthur Sklut and Lori (Skip) Wexler, grandchildren Taylor and Ryan, longtime partner Rita Nissman and stepdaughters Rhonda Silver and Debbie Perkiss.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 11:30 at Goldstein’s at 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 followed by Interment at Shalom Memorial Park.
