FRANKLIN A. WURMAN, Esq. 90, of Elkins Park, passed away on April 29. Born in Philadelphia, Frank was the son of Fannie and Morris Wurman. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Nancy Wurman (née Feldenkreis), his children Bryna (Dworetsky), Joseph and Richard, his brother Richard Saul Wurman, and six beloved grandchildren, Ally, Noah, Jacob, Jackie, Zachary and Zander. Frank was an active and proud alumnus of Amherst College. He went on to complete his law degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and proudly practiced law well into his 80s. He was a loyal Flyers fan and longtime season ticket holder. An avid cribbage player, Frank enjoyed passing on his love for the game to his family and friends, in addition to hosting a monthly grassroots tournament for decades (and proudly achieving the coveted “29 hand”). His greatest joys were watching his family grow and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Frank loved to cook and seemed to always bring everyone together with his love of food. His gregarious and endearing nature, along with his gift for storytelling, always made for a memorable gathering. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services on Tuesday, 11:30am precisely at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Int. Shalom Mem. Park. Shiva to follow on Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 2-4pm at the home of Nancy Wurman. Contributions in his memory may be made to Special Olympics, www.specialolympics.org or to Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, www.kenesethisrael.org.
