Frances Arlene Greenberg, age 105, passed away peacefully February 16, 2021, from natural causes.
She was born on April 2, 1915 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Max and Anna Cohen. She married
Meyer Greenberg, June 15, 1941, who preceded her death
in 1993.
Fran "Franni" was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment
with them. She especially loved her role as Grandmom.
Fran had long lasting friendships spanning over 50 years
and made new friends everywhere she lived and went.
She was always described as a lady; beautiful, refined,
friendly, and kind. She was a lover of music in many
forms. She played the saxophone in numerous
orchestras, sang in choirs, and danced often.
Frances is survived by her brother, Jesse Cohen, her
two children and their spouses, Ellis and Susan Greenberg, Linda and Richard Toll; 5 grandchildren; plus 9 great-grandchildren and two nieces. All of these she loved deeply.
May her life be an inspiration and her memory a blessing.
