Frances Fishman

Frances R. Fishman (née Rister), aged 94, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family on December 6, 2024, in Escondido CA. Born in Chapin, SC, Frances spent most of her working years in Philadelphia, PA where she was a claims examiner for Penn Mutual. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, Barbara Fishman, MD (Larry) of San Antonio, TX, and Alyce Feigelson (David) of Escondido, CA, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Brandon Ancier (Ana), Joel Feigelson, Alex Coy IV, Erica Ancier (Kayvon), Lu Coy, and Adam Coy and her sister-in-law Pauline Rister (née Wicker).

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Fishman of Philadelphia, PA and Temecula, CA; parents, James and Lottie Rister (née Bouknight), brothers, James, Berley, John and William Rister; and sister, Dorothy Oxner, all of Chapin, SC.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, December 10, at 11:00 AM at King David Memorial Park in Bensalem, PA.
