Florence E. Kuritz (nee Sutow), born March 1, 1937 and passed away peacefully July 6, 2026, was the only child of Rose and Benjamin Sutow. She was the widow of Howard S. Kuritz, with whom she shared her life living in Flourtown, with their 2 beloved cats, Samantha and Sylvester, until Howard's death in 1992. Sister-in-law to Eileen Graboyes. Bonus mom for 60+ years to Michele (Larry) Kritz. Mom-Mom to Joshua (Abby) Kritz and Amanda Kritz. Great Mom-Mom to Eitan.

Florence grew up on Elbridge Street in Philadelphia, and began working from Olney High School for Bell Atlantic when she was 17 years old. She stayed with the company until she retired at 58 years old. She spoke about those years with much pride, and stayed loyal as a Verizon customer until her death.

She enjoyed living at The Regency, and loved her years of traveling. Her grandchildren and great-grandson were her pride and joy.

Florence spent the last 6 months in her apartment receiving Hospice Comfort Care from Holy Redeemer Health. Her family is thankful to them and her live-in caregivers for all they did to make sure that she never suffered.

Beautiful, and soft spoken, she left an imprint on her family and friends who loved her dearly. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday, July 9 at 1 PM precisely at Roosevelt Memorial Park (sec. Q), 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA 19053. Family and friends are invited to the Regency Tower Apartments Social Room following the service. There will be no Shiva observed.
